A motivational talk session for the teachers was conducted by DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram on 29 June 2019. The speaker of the day was Professor D. S. Sharma, Retd. from the Department of Chemistry,Zakhir Hussain College and a member of LMC of our school.

He delivered a motivational speech on the art of living and moral values. He shared his experiences related to the challenges of being a teacher and how love and compassion are ingredients that hold the key to expand the horizon of the students for good.

His speech instilled values of perseverance, confidence, serenity, honesty and wisdom. The session made the teachers realise the definition and role of a Guru, which has to be infused with talent and passion, coupled with an intention to deliver her/his best to achieve success.

Stress was laid on attaining a balance between different spheres of life namely personal and professional. He concluded the session by asking teachers to  introspect, judge and give feedback about their behaviour to themselves and start working on an improvement plan to reach the best of their potential.

The school Principal Ms Charu Maini thanked the resource person for sparing his time and motivate everyone with his words of wisdom.
