DAV Public School, Sector-49,Gurugram organized an Inter SchoolEvent ECOLOSSEUM 2019 on 09.08.19. It was an IT RAREE show exclusively organized for young technocrats and budding enthusiasts, with the motto ‘Marcet Sine AdversarioVirtus thereby meaning “Respect Thy Opponent, They Strengthen Valour”.

The competition was judged by a panel of incredible judges namely MsAnshu Nayyar, an IT Expert; MsAruna , the Head Product in Mind Shapers, Mr Ashok Bhardwaj, Director at Garten,a US based company, Mr. Parneet Alawadhi, Member LMC of our school, Mr. Jit Varish Tiwari, an IT Expert, Mr. Kumar Gaurav, a Software Quality Analyst, Mr. Amit Lathwal, Sub Divisonal Officer from PWD and Ms. Sonia Duhan, a Solid Waste Management Expert. The event was declared open by the school Principal Ms Charu Maini. The competition witnessed participants from across 20 schools where students actively participated in various events such as Etch-a- Sketch, Tech Intellect, Verbal Gladiator (GD),Analog ,etc. The competition served the platform for showcasing technical skills of the students Envisioning Science and Technology. This event not only helped in facilitating critical thinking among the students but also encouraged the participating teams competition, the teams were found scratching their brains and trying to compete with each other thus evoking their competitive spirit and the spirit of participation.

The event came to a close with an awe inspiring music performance followed by the prize distribution ceremony.  The overall trophy was bagged by DAV Public School, Sector-14, Gurugram. The students were accorded with the trophy by Principal MsCharu Maini Along with all the judges. The event finallyended with an inspirational speech by the Principal motivating the young and budding enthusiasts to come forward and take the initiative for E-waste Management and Cyber Safety. It was indeed a grand and a memorable show.
