DAV Public School, sec 49, Gurugram conducted a career counselling session for the students of class XII on 13 August 2019. The session was presided over by Miss Pragya Maini, a DAV Alumni. Miss Pragya has done her graduation in English Honours from Lady Sri Ram College, Delhi University and Masters in Human Resource and International Relations from London School of Economics. Presently, she is working with Boston Consulting Firm, one among top three Consulting firms in the world.

Miss Pragya apprised students regarding the career options one can pursue after English (Hon). She talked in length about Journalism, Mass Communication and Consultancy . She informed students about the eligibility, criterion and process for admission to International Universities. She also guided the students about writing articles (SOP) while applying for higher studies. The session was an eye opener for all the students and they were able to see beyond Doctor, Engineers, Architects, etc as for the career options are concerned. The students had various queries regarding IELTS, SAT and other competitive exams which were keenly discussed by Miss Pragya. The session was very informative and ended up with widening the horizon of students related to alternate career options in life.
