Education holds the key to enlightenment and development. By keeping the motto’ EK BHARAT SHRESTH BHARAT’ in our hearts, the students of grade VI  of DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram participated wholeheartedly in ‘ANVESHAN 2019-  Exploring Self’ on 30 November 2019. The Parents Promanade witnessed the horizon that marks the amalgamation of all the learning and skill enhancing.

The beautiful arena created by the young DAVians stole the hearts of all the spectators. The talented band of musicians mesmerized everyone with their spectacular performance. The melodious singers drew the strings of everyone’s hearts with their soothing voice. The scintillating performances, expressing the message of saving environment and unity, of our young dancers left an inevitable mark in the minds of others. The young scientists showcased their talents by creating and presenting various models. The art work done by the children was appreciated and applauded by the gathering. To cultivate innovators in our youth today, the students of Robotics Club showcased their designs and engineering strategies at such an early age. Our Cyber Club students not only developed various games which were enjoyed by all, but also spread awareness about cyber security and media literacy which is the need of the hour.

The motive behind this extravaganza was to cultivate the necessary 21^st century skills like computational thinking, self directed learning, creative problem solving, time management, team work, perseverance, communication, collaboration and many more. This programme was conducted to engage students in STEAM ( Science, Technology , Engieneering, Arts and Mathematics) education. The guest of the day, Ms Anita Ahuja , Principal SB DAV School Vasant Vihar, Delhi, appreciated the efforts of all the students and motivated the parents to imbibe values in their children so that they will come out as responsible citizens of the country. The school Principal, Ms. Charu Maini thanked all the parents and advised them to celebrate the individuality of their child. It was indeed a spectacular show.
