“AI is not only a technology, but a belief.”

 To keep the learners apprised with the new technology and its use, DAV Public School, Uppal's Sothend, Sector-49, Gurugram hosted 10th CBSE-Intel AI-Thon: AI Readiness workshop under the guidelines of CBSE  in collaboration with Intel from 21.01.2020 to 23.01.2020.

The AI-Thon workshop series has been launched with an objective of building AI Readiness skills amongst school students in accordance to the AI skill subject introduced in formal education system. This workshop witnessed an enthusiastic participation of 58 students from 28 schools across Delhi, UP, Haryana and Rajasthan. In this three-day workshop students have gone through various AI concepts and have had extensive hands-on sessions on AI domain specific programming.

 Dr Bishwajeet Saha, Director Skill Education, CBSE along  with Mr. Sandeep Jain, Joint Secretary Training, CBSE graced the Validictory ceremony and motivated the students to be future ready. Principals from various schools of Gurugram were also a part of the ceremony. The school Principal, Ms Charu Maini thanked the gathering and encouraged the participants to use the technology in creating a better and sustainable future.
