CHARACTER ANALYSIS FROM SHAKESPEARE

On the occasion of World Book Day on 23rd April 2020, DAV Public School, Sector-49 organised an Inter Class Competition for students of class XI. The competition, ‘Character Analysis from Shakespeare’ was held with the aim of enhancing the literary skills of learners, to make them understand the legacy of the characters created by the most iconic literary writer of all times - Shakepeare.
The zealous participants brought forth in their work, the magic of Shakespeare- the stalwart literary figure, who still lives in the hearts and souls of millions of people. The characters from Shakespeare’s plays were showcased by means of power point presentations which comprised of their life history, achievements, famous dialogues, traits and vivid videos.
The event provided a brilliant opportunity for the students to acquire life skills from various characters like Julius Caesar, Hamlet, Antonio, Ophelia, Prospero, Lady Macbeth, Juliet and others who faced enormous challenges with confidence and grace. It also offered them a platform to chisel creativity and imagination in their impeccable style. The event proved to be a wholesome learning experience for all.
