SHLOK CHANTING (CLASS V)

Shlok is a poetic form used in Sanskrit, the classical language of India. Chanting shloks has many benefits. It releases positive energy and helps to keep us happy and healthy. In order to motivate the students to practise shlok chanting and make it a part of their daily lives, an online shlok gayan competition was organised on MS Teams for class 5 on 12.10.2020. Two participants from each section took part in the competition. They presented beautiful shloks and explained them too. All the participants were well versed with the shloks and impressed the judges with their presentation skills. Bhavik Manchanda of VB won the 1st prize, Vaishnavi Vaidya of VA won the 2nd prize and Manya Roy of VD won the 3rd prize.
