Healthy and clean air to breathe is the topmost requirement of today and it is the duty of each one of us to take care of our surroundings.
The ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs launched Swachch Servekshan League 2020 with an aim to provide clean surroundings to everyone. A team of Municipal Corporation, Gurugram visited our school and undertook the survey of the entire school. They inspected the school corridors, washrooms, waste disposal and segregation, at site composting, greenery in the campus and the students' cleanliness etiquettes.
With immense pride we wish to share that DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram has been awarded with Swachch School Award at Zonal Level. We have got First Rank in Swachch School Competition organised by Municipal Corporation of Gurugram under Swachch Bharat Mission.
The felicitation ceremony was held on 28 November 2019 at Municipal Corporation Office, Gurugram and our Principal, Ms. Charu Maini received this award with great pride. It is the result of the philanthropist efforts of the entire team of DAVPS, Sector -49,Gurugram.
