ENGLISH POEM RECITATION CLASS III

Sir Edgar Allan Poe had rightly said that "Poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words." And reciting a poem brings it alive. No wonder listening to a poem being recited is such a wonderfully satisfying experience! 

DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, SECTOR-49, GURUGRAM organised an English POEM RECITATION COMPETITION for the students of Class III on 18 June 2021. The participants really impressed one and all with their choice of poems covering a wide range of themes such as our planet, nature, perseverance, the ongoing pandemic and the heroes fighting against it so valiantly. All the participants were well prepared and captivated the hearts of the judges and the audience with their confident, energetic and dynamic presentations. The judges had a really tough time choosing the winners. Finally  Aradhaya Singla (III C) won the 1st prize, Anshika Dubey (III A) won the 2nd prize, Aaradhya Singh (III E) won the 3rd prize and Navya Gupta  (III A) and Kashvi (III E) jointly won the Encouragement prize.
