CHILDREN'S DAY (III-V)

Children's Day is celebrated on November 14 to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of independent India. Nehru, who was fondly known as Chacha Nehru among children, considered children the real strength of a nation and foundation of society.

 To celebrate his birth anniversary, a Special Assembly was organised for the students of DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram, Primary Wing on 16 November 2021.

Dhairya Bhardwaj of class VB, dressed up as Chacha Nehru passed on his message to the children to become responsible citizens, be kind towards others and have a positive approach towards life. The students sang children’s day song with full vigour and enthusiasm. They were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day.

Principal of the school, Ms. Charu Maini, wished all the children on this occasion and motivated  them to enjoy their childhood  and keep working hard to make the Nation proud.
