Christmas is undoubtedly the most magical time of the year. It is not just about tree decorations, cakes, gifts  and family feasts. The true spirit of Christmas lies in doing a little something extra for someone.

 The students of DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, SECTOR-49, GURUGRAM celebrated Christmas virtually by having a special morning assembly. The teachers talked about the significance of Christmas followed by a video showing the variety of Christmas decorations made by them such as Christmas trees🎄, wreaths, candy canes etc. The celebration became more joyful and infectious when the song and video🕺 💃 of the students was played in which they dressed up in red and white and danced to the Merry Christmas song🎅. And since no celebration of Christmas can be complete without cakes, the students were taught how to bake a simple and fingerlicking yummy mug cake that takes just two minutes! Last but not the least an award winning short film titled 'Nidhi's tiffin' was shown to the students. It was a poignant movie in which a little girl learns that true happiness lies in giving and sharing with others especially those who are less fortunate than us. The special morning assembly on Christmas came to an end with this beautiful message of love and compassion.
