                                                                                                              DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram organised 'Yoga Competition' for the students of class III on 18.05.22 and for the students of classes IV and V on 19.05.22. It was an inter-house competition in which 5 students from each house participated. All the participants were well prepared for the competiton. They performed a variety of yogasanas almost effortlessly and really impressed the judges with their strength, gracefulness, flexibility and correctness of posture. The judges had a tough time choosing the winners. From Class III participants of Kirti house won the First prize, participants of Neeti house won the second prize and participants of Jagriti house won the Third prize. From classes IV and V participants of Kirti house won the First prize, participants of Shakti  house won the second prize and participants of Jagriti house won the Third prize. The Yoga Competition was indeed like a breath of fresh air that refreshed our belief in the wholesome goodness of yoga. The young yogis of our school through their stellar performances proved beyond any doubt that yoga is not just about being flexible and keeping fit rather it is a way of life for life.
