Planting trees is one of the easiest and most sustainable ways to positively affect the environment. To generate interest and foster environmental stewardship in the behaviour, students of Class II celebrated Earth Day on 22 April, 2017. They planted saplings in the school premises. They really loved planting the sapling, setting the soil and watering it. It is rightly said "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn". Thus, the students became aware that they can play a sinificant role in protecting their environment through personal involvement. This experience will help them to make wise decisions about the conservation and use of our valuable natural resources.
