COMMUNAL HARMONY CAMPAIGN WEEK

To promote the values of communal harmony and national integration among the students, D.A.V Public School, Uppal's Southend, Sec-49, Gurugram; organised 'Communal Harmony Campaign Week' from 19 November 2017 to 25 November 2017.
During this week, the students got the opportunity to perform various activities which developed the values of integration, peace and harmony among them. The tiny toddlers of kindergarten gave expressions to their thoughts by preparing 3D models on National Integration using clay and origami art. The students of classes I and II spread patriotic fervour around creating national flags through paper tearing and pasting activity. A Painting Competition was organized for the students of classes III to V on “Communal Harmony and National Integration' in which the students vividly and vibrantly expressed their ideas through their beautiful paintings.
A special assembly was organized on 'Flag Day' in which students recited patriotic poetries, sang song on unity and peace and presented speech about the significance of colours in our national flag. The Principal of the school, Mrs. Charu Maini addressed the students and told them about the importance of maintaining communal harmony, peace and unity.
For the whole week, the atmosphere in the school was resonating with feelings of love for the country and the message: Let's strive for an enlightened community, let's strive for communal harmony, let's strive for oneness...”
