The child is the centre of our universe and we at DAV Public School Sector-49, Gurugram always try to maximise the untapped potentials of the children so that they can demonstrate a positive attitude. Keeping the same in view, an Orientation Programme was organized for the parents of class VI on 7.07. 2018. The aim of the programme was to familiarize the parents, with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies, assessment pattern, the co-scholastic activities and cyber safety.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome of the parents followed by DAV GAAN. The School Principal, Ms. Charu Maini enlightened the gathering by walking through the Vision and Philosophy of the school. She laid stress on effective communication between the teachers & the parents and also sought their support and suggestions so that the children could be provided the best for their overall development.

The session was henceforth thrown open for a discussion with parents and all the suggestions were taken on a positive note and the Principal and Coordinator apprised the parents of the initiatives that have already been taken by the school and ensured that their suggestions would be looked into. It ended on a positive note with an aim of having happy, skillful and well adjusted students.
