Financial literacy is the foundation of your relationship with money, and it is a lifelong journey of learning. Understanding the need to sensitize teachers about the right approach to finances, CBSE, in collaboration with Jeevitam, organized a sensitization Programme on Financial Literacy and use of Digital Tools at DAV Public School, Uppal’s Southend, Sector-49, Gurugram. The programme was attended by the teachers of the host and hub leader school and also by teachers of – Lions Public School, Sharda Public School, DAV Public School, Haily Mandi and Ajanta Public School .
CBSE has taken this initiative to sensitise teachers across the country on basics of financial literacy and use of digital tools that are relevant in current scenario. Mr. Ram Kumar Gupta, a well qualified, experienced and certified financial planner conducted the session by laying focus on creating awareness about basic financial planning and how to avoid cyber frauds. It was quite an informative and insightful programme attended by over 207 teachers and Principals of the hub schools. The school Principal, Ms Charu Maini applauded the efforts of CBSE and said that the session certainly helped the educators stay updated to plan their finances in better way.
