DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram, organised an inter-house Solo Dance Competition for classes III to V on 27.01.23. The theme of the competition was Indian dance forms. It was a selection based competition in which three participants from each house participated. All the participants presented beautifully choreographed dances that were visually stunning, apt for the theme/ chosen music and simply entertaining. The variety of dances as well as the originality of presentation skills wowed both the judges  and the whole audience. The vibrant dance costumes, elaborate make up, eye catching jewellery, gracious dance moves and fabulous facial expressions of the participants brought the stage to life. It was a closely contested competition and the judges had a tough time choosing the winners. Savricka Rohilla (VC) from Shakti house won the First prize, Shuchismita Debnath (IV B) from Shakti house and Lavanya (IV E) from Preeti house won the Second prize, khanak Sharma (III E) and Bhawna (V C) from Jagriti house won the Third prize, Samiksha  (V D) from Jyoti house, Anshika Dubey (IV A) from Neeti house and Yuvika Garg (III D) from Kirti house won the Encouragement prize.
