An inter house cooking competition was held on 19.08.19 for the students of classes XI and XII. ‘Chasing the flavours’ was the theme of the competition. The students had to prepare three food items each from the given categories which includes salad/sandwich, mocktail/crush/smoothie/shake and frosting/icing of a cake. Students show cased their talent and culinary skills with utmost dedication, creativity and enthusiasm. It was a sight to witness with so much of colours, flavours, creativity and amazing plating of food done by our talented DAVians. The judgement was done by our respectable team of in-charges Ms.Chanda Narula, Ms. Timsy Bhatia and Ms. Priya Bhandari. Kirti house was declared the winner with their mouth tempting preparation of Pan shots, Chocolate cake and Chick-pea salad. It gave platform to our students to understand elements and principles of art and the power of creating flavour in a dish. Overall it was a learning experience for our students and a golden opportunity to showcase their talent.
