It was a matter of great pride and privilege for DAV Public School, sector 49, Gurugram to host the enriching session of ‘Punam ki Paathshaala’ on 18.01.2020 conducted by the President of DAVCMC and Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi sabha, Padmashri Dr. Punam Suri ji. The programme was attended by eminent personalities like Vice President of DAVCMC and Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi sabha and Chairman of school Shri Prabodh Mahajan ji, Mr. R. S Sharma, General Secretary of DAVCMC, Prof. Ved Prakash, former Chairman, UGC, Mr. Yogesh Munjal, Vice Chairman of the school and Managing Director of Munjal Shova, distinguished office bearers of DAV CMC, Leading educationist Mrs. Anita Makkar, Dignified Principals of nine DAV Public schools and more than 250 teachers of DAV schools of Gurugram region. The entire hall reverberated with the resounding of mantras which provided the perfect beginning to the day holding a plethora of learning for the participants. Shri Prabodh Mahajan ji, the school Principal Mrs. Charu Maini along with other Principals accorded welcome to Shri Suri ji. He began the session by telling about the rising need to train our children to practice the virtues of life by being a good human. It is through Principals and teachers that he can reach millions of children to teach them how to follow the path of truth and contribute towards the betterment of humanity, thus serving the society and nation. The school Principal Mrs. Charu Maini thanked Padmashri Dr. Punam Suri ji for providing such opportunity to enrich our souls, so that we can become torch bearers for the future generation and guide them towards right path.
