RANGOLI MAKING
Rangoli making is an integral part of Diwali celebrations. Making beautiful designs on the floor adds hues to the surroundings and brightens our house. A rangoli making competition was organised for the students of class V on 6.11.2020. The judges were highly impressed with the pretty eye catching rangolis made by the participants. The designs varied from traditional floral designs to modern geometric designs and most of the participants gave beautiful messages through their rangoli designs. Tejasav Veen of VB and Vanya Ruhil of VD won the first prize, Navya Dhull of VB won the second prize and Gaurakshi of VD won the third prize respectively.
TORAN MAKING
On Diwali people decorate their houses beautifully and hang attractive torans on doorways to invite in good times. A toran making competition was organised for the students of classes III and IV on 6.11.2020. The students came up with many creative ideas and made bright and colourful torans using a variety of materials. Their enthusiasm and hardwork was evident in their gorgeous creations which wowed the judges immensely. Prakriti Yadav of 3D and Jayesh Jain of 4A won the first prize, Tanishi Yadav of 3E and Deshna Banerjee of 4C won the second prize. Gargi Chanana of 3A, Anaya Chalana of 3D and Raghav Mittal of 4B won the third prize.
