Webinar Series: BRAVE THE CORONA TIMES 2.0

To keep the spirits high and to deal with the after effects of COVID- 19, DAV United organized the sequel of Webinar - BRAVE THE CORNA TIMES 2.0 on 17 May 2021. The session was excellently moderated by Dr Nisha Peshin, Director Public Schools (II), DAVCMC, and Director Academics, DAVCAE and very well coordinated the Principals of DAV Public School, Uppal’s Southend, Sector-49 and Sector-14, Gurugram.  

The guest speaker and expert, Dr Arvind Kumar, Founder of Lung Care Foundation, Chairman: Institute of Chest, Medanta gave his discernment on the burning issue of Black Fungus along with the Post Covid Care in his one hour interaction with Dr Nisha Peshin along with Ms. Charu Maini, Principal DAV Public School, Uppal’s Southend, Sector-49, Gurugram and Ms. Aparna Erry, Principal DAV Public School, Sector-14, Gurugram.

He started the session by reiterating the 6 ‘M’ approach which must be followed to remain safe and healthy. He explained that Black Fungus is a fungal infection and high diabetic people who consume high doses of steroids for a long time, are more prone to it. He gave his insight on Post Covid issues and advised everyone to follow 6 ‘M’ Approach Post Corona as well, but with a different meaning. He accentuated the need of psychological strength which is required post corona for a good mental health.  He appealed everyone to be positive and help the people in need and support each other. He took all the queries raised by the viewers through YouTube Live chat.

Dr. Nisha Peshin showed her gratitude towards Dr Arvind for his most humble attitude and his selfless service to the nation. In the end, Ms. Charu Maini explained the DAV Web Portal which is now operational to provide help and resources to the needy in these testing times. The session has given a new understanding on how to behave and act post covid in order to create a new spirit to get on once again with others. It was indeed a great session.
