INTERCLASS SOLO DANCE COMPETITION (III-V)

Dance is nothing but poetry in motion. It is the timeless interpretation of life. Humans dance to express their feelings and emotions through graceful body movements. 

To encourage the students to show their dancing talents, DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, SECTOR-49 organised a Solo Dance competition for the students of classes III to V. The theme  for class III was western dance, the class IV students were given the theme of devotional dance while the class V students got folk dance as their theme. All the selected participants submitted their recorded videos for the judgement by the judges. The participants impressed the judges not only with their song selection and apt choreography but also with their theme appropriate costumes, use of suitable props, backdrops or virtual backgrounds, facial expressions and overall presentation skills. It was a tough job for the judges to select the winners. But finally prisha (III D), Shefali (IV A) and Mohak Chawla (V B) won the First prize. Lavanya Saraf (III E), Aaradhya Sharma (IV B) and Saubhagya (V B) won the Second prize. Varnika Rathi (III C), Vaideshi Soni (IV C), Yashvi Daksh (V B) and Akshit Malik (V D) jointly won the Third prize.
