Festive fervor gripped our little learners at the D.A.V. Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram on 3.11.2018. Tiny tots of Kindergarten brought alive on stage ‘Ramayana-The Story Of Lord Rama.

The students in their radiant outfits dazzled everyone with their stellar performances. The programme commenced with the Green Welcome of the Chief Guest, Mr.  Prabodh Mahajan (Vice President- D.A.V CMC and Chairman-D.A.V. Public School, Sector 49 Gurugram), Guest of Honour, Mrs. Adarsh Kohli  (Manager- D.A.V. Public School, Sector 49 Gurugram), worthy School Principal and other eminent dignitaries.

Mr. Prabodh Mahajan in his address congratulated the school for a vibrant and lively day. He urged the parents to spend quality time with their children. He further suggested children to be loving, considerate and respectful rather than tech savy. He also laid emphasis on the education of girl child. Principal, Ms. Charu Maini welcomed the audience and spoke about school’s dynamic journey and how school facilitates every child’s capacity to think actively and discourage academic bulimia. She spoke extensively about the achievements of the toddlers and applauded their efforts. She further encourages all the children to be equally participative and competitive. Later the Prize Distribution Ceremony took place.

Dressed up in vibrant costumes, our little actors mesmerized the audience with their stage craft. The stage was aesthetically set up to take audience into the ‘Treta Yug’ as the episodes from Ramayana came alive on stage. The Kindergartens captured every heart with their stupendous performance. The ground reverberated with cheers when the entire crew of 200 students came on the stage to sing the grand finale song, 'Deepawali Aayee Re'. The beautiful celebration concluded with the vote of thanks by the School Manager, Mrs. Adarsh Kohli. A programme worth watching and appreciating heartily!
