It is a well known fact that eating healthy food is very important to keep our bodies fit and strong. In order to encourage the Primary DAVians to eat right, a fireless cooking competition on the theme 'Health is Wealth' was organised for the students of Class III. The name of the competition was 'BALANCED DIET PLATE WITHOUT FIRE'. The cute culinary enthusiasts prepared cool innovative dishes using minimum 8 ingredients. They not only whipped up a balanced diet plate that looked delicious but also presented their plates with catchy meaningful jingles. The variety of ingredients, their colour palette and artistic presentation proved beyond any doubt that good food is not only healthy but can look appetizing and attractive too. The judges were truly impressed by the knowledge and presentation skills of the participants. Kamya Yadav (3C) won the First prize,Manya Mittal (3D) won the Second prize, Paridhi (3E) and Shanaya Yadav (3C) jointly won the Third prize and Bhavya Agarwal (3D) won the Encouragement prize.
