Spic Macay (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth) is a non-political, nationwide, voluntary movement founded in 1977 by Dr. Kiran Seth, Professor-Emeritus at IIT-Delhi who was awarded the 'Padma Shri' for his contribution to the arts in 2009.

D.A.V. Public School, sector-49, Gurgaon inaugurated their association with SPIC MACAY Gurgaon Chapter in July 2017, with the performance of the leading Odissi danseuse, Ms. Kavita Dwibedi who is known for her vision, versatility and superb Abhinaya. In session 2018-19, we organized the performance of the leading Bharatnatyam dancer, Ms. Ragini Chandershekar. To give a continuous exposure of our unique culture to the students, we invited  Ms Monisa Nayak the eminent Kathak Performer. We look forward to many more such initiatives by SPIC MACAY.
