On the auspicious occasion of the 200th Birth Anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram organised a Blessings Ceremony for the students of classes VIII to XII on 13 February 2023.

The day began with a workshop by the School Counsellor, Ms. Manpreet Sandhu, who updated the students of classes X and XII about effective planning for the upcoming board examinations, goal settings and relaxation techniques during examinations. The Principal, Ms. Charu Maini counselled the students on the importance of being organised and leading a stress free study pattern using the mantra of “ Magic of 7”. The ceremonial hawan was conducted in the afternoon.  Chanting of mantras and offerings to sacred fire created a revitalizing and rejuvenating effect for both the body and mind and paved the way for success of students in the upcoming board examinations. The esteemed presence of DAV luminaries energised the ambience of the school with cheerfulness, serenity and positivity. Thereafter the students were showered upon with blessings by Vice President, DAVCMC and Chairman, DAV Public School, Sector- 49, Gurugram, Shri Prabodh Mahajan ji,   Vice President, DAVCMC and Vice Chairman, DAV Public School, Sector- 49, Gurugram, Shri Yogesh Munjal ji, and other distinguished members of DAV-LMC.

The Chairman of the school, Shri Prabodh Mahajan ji inspired the students to be responsible citizens, to be good human beings and to be of great service to society. Ma’am Adarsh Kohli, the manager of the school motivated the students for hard work and gave some valuable tips for preparation of the board examination. On the whole it was a memorable day full of pious energy and tranquility.
