"Conserve your cultural diversity, preserve it for future identities"
To celebrate Heritage day and invigorate the cultural fervor in the students, DAV Public School, Uppal's Southend, Sector-49, Gurugram organised an titled 'Global Sustaination' on 12 April 2023.The students participated with great zeal and fervour and created mesmerizing PPTs, videos and melodious songs on the various cities of India. The competition taught the students the importance of sustainable development and preserving our monuments as they are the real jewel of India. The competition was not only an eye feast for the audience, but they also designed beautiful posters and flyers taking inspiration from the presentations.The first position was secured by Shakti House. Their performance depicted the historic glory of the Nalanda University, taking the audience on a voyage through time. The participants were: Siddhi Garg(6C), Yashasvi Lohia(7B), Garima Sinhmar (8A), Yashika Anjna (8A) and Divyam Pahuja (8C). Preeti House bagged the second position with their performance that showcased the majestic splendour of the ghats of Benaras and the beauty of Benarasi sarees. the participants were: with participants Saksham(6A), Ekansh (6D), Subhiksha (6D), Kavya Arora(8A), Atharva(8B), and Kavya Saini (7E). Kirti House secured the third position. Their performance was an awareness song on the karaoke of a Bhajan, which spread the message about the need for preserving the magnificence of the holy city of Mathura.The participants were: Hardik (6E), Rasleen Kaur (6E) Aarush Bharadwaj(7A), Parth Chitlangya (8B), Khanak Sharma (8D) and Aditri Srivastava (8D). The competition was a real delight and treat to the eyes.
