Poem Analysis Competition

To ignite the creative spark of the students of classes XI- XII, a ‘Poem Analysis Competition’ was organized for them on the occasion of World Book Day on 25.04.2023. 

The students participated in the competition with great zeal and enthusiasm and critically provided insight into the elements which make up the poem, such as diction, imagery, structure, rhyme, rhythm, the overall message and theme of the poem. They also presented graphic representation of the poem and took the competition to another level. With each image, they could also explain and analyze the relationship between image and text which augmented the understanding of the poem.

Overall, it was a fruitful  competition which developed the aesthetic sense, creative skills and analytical skills in the students.
