SOUVENIR MAKING COMPETITION

India is a vast and vibrant nation that boasts of a rich heritage that bespeaks its glorious past. Each and every part of this great nation with its unique culture and traditions has its own charm that leaves a deep impression in the hearts of people.

To celebrate our country’s grandeur, traditions and cultural heritage, DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram organised a ‘SOUVENIR MAKING’ competition for the students of classes III to V on 04.08.2023. It was a mass competition that witnessed zealous participation of all students in which they designed a souvenir from any one state of their choice. They made a variety of decorative items such as wall hangings, designer mugs, coasters, key chains, fridge magnets, hand painted ceramic plates and so on. This unique competition gave the participants full freedom to express their imagination and creativity using varied artistic techniques and mediums and the outcome was truly spectacular. From Class III Aditya Gupta (III A)  won the First prize, Sarthak Gupta  (III C)  and Akarsha (III B) won the Second prize, Riddhi Tamoli (III A) and Ronit Dixit (III E) won the Third prize and Kanishka (III D) won the Encouragement prize. From class IV Aarohi (IV C)and Yuvisha Saxena (IV B) won the First prize, Viraj Mittal (IV C) and Shagun Bhaduria (IV B) won the Second prize,  Ridai Singh Walia (IV D) and Lavishka (IV B) won the Third prize and Vaani Sangela (IV E) won the Encouragement prize. From class V Lavanya Saraf (V E) won the First prize, Yana Gupta (V A) and Shuchismita Debnath (V B) won the Second prize, Manya Mittal (V D) and Shivanshi Mudgil (V A) won the Third prize.
