CBSE Capacity Building Program on Cyber Safety 

 

A CBSE Capacity Building Program focused on Cyber Safety was conducted at DAV Public School, Uppal’s Southend, Gurugram, on August 19, 2023. The program aimed to equip educators with the knowledge and tools to address the crucial issue of online safety among students.

 

The program featured two eminent resource persons:

1. Ms. Mohini Arora - Principal, Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, New Delhi

2. Mr. Rajwardhan Purohit - Freelancer, Noida

 

Ms. Mohini Arora's session highlighted the current digital landscape and the potential risks students face while using the internet. She emphasized the role of educators in educating students about online safety and fostering a culture of responsible digital citizenship.

 

Mr. Rajwardhan Purohit discussed practical approaches to teach students about safe online practices, privacy protection, and dealing with cyberbullying. He also addressed the challenges associated with online learning platforms and provided suggestions for maintaining a secure virtual classroom environment.

 

Interactive discussions and case studies were used to engage participants and encourage them to share their experiences and best practices for promoting cyber safety.
