CYBER OLYMPIAD
Technology has forever changed the world we live in. We're online, in one way or another, all day long. Our phones and computers have become indispensable parts of our lives Thus, it's very important for the students to acquire the knowledge of computers - software, hardware, operating systems, technology and internet. On 20.11.2023, the primary wing of DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram organized Cyber Olympiad for classes III to V. It was a mass competition which tested the cyber knowledge of the students. The judges were really impressed to see that such young students knew so much about computers and information technology. Naira Kumar (III E), Sajith Nagpal (IV D) and kaairav Kymar (V E) won the First prize, Moksh Yadav (III D), Devraj (IV D) and Manvi Soni (V E) won the Second prize, Mahi Yadav (III D), Paavni Dudeja (IV C), Shivanshi Mudgil (V A) and Anay Aggarwal (V B) won the Third prize.

Nowadays, in the age of computers, even art is made digitally. A ' Digital Poster Making Interhouse Competition' was held for the students of class III to V on 23.11.2023. It was a selection based competition in which three students from each house were selected. All the participants made beautiful and meaningful posters and proved their expertise in using computer technology to make art. They were impressive not only in the neatness, colour scheme and presentation of their digital posters but also in their creativity and thoughtfulness. Naira Kumar (III E), Prisha Dudeja (IV C) and kaairav Kumar (V E) won the First prize, Vihaan Kumar (III C), Paavni Dudeja (IV C) and Farica Kundelwal (V D) won the Second prize, Aanvi Dubey (III C), Akshita Gupta (IV D) and Aarav Yadav (V B)won the Third prize.
CYBER QUIZ
Access to computers and the Internet has become a basic need for education in our society.(Kent Conrad)
On 29.11.2023 the Primary Wing of DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram organised Cyber Quiz Competition for classes III to V. It was a selection based competition in which three participants from each house took part. The quiz was divided into five rounds -- Hardare, Software, Identification, Current Affairs in IT and Mixed Bag that tested the cyber knowledge of the students. All the houses were thoroughly prepared for the quiz and dazzled the judges with their confidence and depth of knowledge. The Cyber Quiz proved that technology is here to stay and our future generation is ready for it. Agastya Jain (III A), Paavni Dudeja (IV C) and Ishaan Deo(V C) from Neeti house won the First prize, Vedansh Wasan (III E), Sabhya Sachdeva (IV D) and Kaairav Kumar (V E) from Preeti house won the Second prize.
