DAV SPORTS NATIONAL LEVEL VALEDICTORY CEREMONY - BOYS

The DAV Sports National Level event for Kho Kho, boys in the Under-14/17/19 categories held at DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram, reached its pinnacle with a remarkable valedictory ceremony, radiating enthusiasm and grandeur. This prestigious event was organised under the DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi and recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Total 18 states and nearly 520 passionate participants from diverse DAV schools across the nation participated in the event.The ceremony commenced with DAV gaan, setting the tone for the ceremony followed by lamp lighting.The vibrant and energetic Haryanvi dance performance illuminated the event, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Haryana.The crowning moments of excitement unfolded with the announcement of championship results.

Kho Kho Boys:Under-14 category: The Jharkhand Team emerged as the winner, with the Uttrakhand and Chattisgarh Teams securing the 1st and 2nd Runner-up positions respectively.Under-17 category: The Delhi team clinched victory, with Jharkhand and AP Telangana,Karnataka Teams as the 1st and 2nd Runners-up respectively.Under-19 category: The Jharkhand Team claimed the coveted title, while the Himachal Pradesh and Delhi Teams earned the 1st and 2nd Runner-up positions, respectively.

School Principal, Ms. Charu Maini, congratulated the winners and delivered an inspiring address that reverberated through the hall, instilling a profound sense of determination and sportsmanship among the students.The event culminated in a harmonious rendition of the National Anthem, unifying everyone in a moment of patriotic pride and solidarity.
