Gurugram Police Cyber Security Summer Internship 2024

The Gurugram Police Cyber Security Summer Internship 2024 was inaugurated at DAV Public School, Gurugram, on June 3, 2024. Distinguished guests included DCP South Sri Siddhant Jain, IPS, and ACP Cyber Crime Sri Priyanshu Diwan, HPS. The event, featuring a shloka, skit, and speeches, aimed to empower 1,000 interns from 13 states with essential cyber security skills.

Throughout the first week, workshops for Cyber Ambassadors and Cyber Warriors were held, featuring insights from experts like Dr. Rakshit Tandon and Mr. Devansh Chauhan on cyber security and bug bounty programs. On the third day, Dinesh O Bareja provided a comprehensive overview of cyber security.

The second week included sessions led by ACP Priyanshu Diwan and Cyber Security Officer Vedant Kaushal, focusing on cyber criminals' tactics. Key points discussed included digital forensics and emerging cyber threats by Dr. Rakshit Tandon and Mr. Rushi Mehta.

In the final week, the dangers of drug abuse were addressed through speeches by Ms. Pankhuri Kumar and ACP Diwan. The closing ceremony on July 2, 2024, highlighted the interns' contributions, featuring a skit, dance, and Capture The Flag (CTF) competition. Commissioner Vikas Kumar Arora, IPS, delivered an inspiring speech, celebrating the successful completion of the internship. DAV School Principal Ms. Charu Maini thanked the Gurugram police for organizing such an impactful event in the school campus and appreciated how it effectively utilized the students' summer vacations.
