78th Independence Day celebrations organized by the District Administration at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Gurugram
Event Start Date : 15/08/2024 Event End Date 15/08/2024 On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day, students from DAV Public School, Uppal's Southend, Sector-49, Gurugram, actively participated in the celebrations organized by the District Administration at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Gurugram. As part of the event, our students from Grades VII to IX presented a captivating dance drama based on the theme "Aaj Ka Bharat." This theme, specifically chosen by our school, emphasized the progress and vision of modern India. Through their performance, the students vividly portrayed the nation's vibrant energy, aspirations, and growth, reflecting both its rich cultural legacy and its advancements toward modernization. Among the various performances at the event, our students' dance drama stood out for its impactful depiction of India's journey from independence to becoming a rapidly developing nation. The performance was met with enthusiasm and appreciation, adding a distinct and memorable element to the celebration. The Chief Guest, Shri Banwari Lal, Minister of Loknirman (Public Works) and Population Statistics, honored the occasion and praised all the participants, including our students. He applauded their artistic expression and the meaningful representation of "Aaj Ka Bharat," which resonated strongly with the audience. The school's principal, Ms. Charu Maini, also commended the students and their mentors for their dedicated efforts and creativity in bringing the theme to life.
