As part of the Science and Maths Week, DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram; organized an innovative event titled "Mathambola" on 22 August 2024. The event was designed for students of Classes 11 and 12 who study mathematics.

The game, modeled after Housie or Tambola, involved students solving mathematical problems to mark their numbers. The concept was well-received, with students excitedly participating and demonstrating their mathematical knowledge in a practical context. The event proved to be a great success, with various prizes awarded to the winners.

The school Principal, Ms Charu Maini, awarded the winners and expressed her happiness with the event's outcome. She also emphasized the importance of incorporating such educational games into the curriculum from Class 3 onwards, recognizing their value in enhancing students' understanding of basic concepts.
