Grandparents’ Day at DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram, was a magical celebration held on August 31, 2024! The Nursery and LKG students beautifully embraced the theme ‘Echoes of Love,’ filling the school with joy, excitement, and warmth.The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome from the Supervisory Head, Ms. Timsy Bhatia. She welcomed the grandparents and parents, shared the school’s recent achievements, and praised the students for their dedication in preparing for this special day.The day featured a vibrant array of performances, including lively dance performances, melodious songs, and dazzling costumes, turning the stage into a celebration of love and joy. The grandparents were at the heart of the festivities, actively participating in delightful games such as ‘Perfect Pick,’ the thrilling ‘Blindfold Game,’ and a fun-filled 'Quiz Challenge'.Their enthusiastic participation was a delight to witness.One of the most touching highlights was the children presenting handcrafted photo frames to their grandparents a heartfelt symbol of love and gratitude that brought smiles to everyone. The little ones were also surprised with delightful goodie bags, making the day even more special for them.The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Kindergarten Incharge, Ms. Isha Naruka, who expressed deep gratitude to the grandparents, parents, teachers, and students for making the day a resounding success.
