INTERHOUSE BHAJAN SANDHYA COMPETITION(III-V)

Bhajans are mesmerising devotional songs that has a soothing effect on our soul.  Singing and listening to bhajans is therapeutic in many ways. It can uplift our spirit and boost our self-confidence and self-esteem. It can also provide solace in difficult times, inspire feelings of hope and joy, and deepen our spiritual connection to something greater than ourselves.

DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram, organised an inter-house devotional song singing competition titled ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ for the students of classes III to V on 28.08.2024. It was a group competition in which 8 to 10 participants from each house presented melodious soul stirring bhajans. All the houses were well prepared and presented beautiful heart touching bhajans that evoked feelings of devotion, faith, joy and hope. The lovely attires and apt props used by the participants added to their performances and created an atmosphere of love and devotion that highly impressed the judges and the audience. Participants of Preeti house won the First prize, participants of Neeti house won the Second prize,  participants of Kirti house won the Third prize and participants of Jagriti house won the Encouragement prize.
