On 1st October 2024, students from grades IX to XII of DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugramwere taken for an enriching experience to watch the movie "Binny and Family" at Airia Mall, under the umbrella of DAV United. The screening took place at Cinepolis, and it was generously offered free of cost, providing a wonderful opportunity for the children to engage in this fun and educational outing.
The purpose of organising this movie viewing was to offer students a blend of entertainment and learning. "Binnie and Family" presents valuable life lessons in a lighthearted yet impactful manner. Through its storyline, the movie emphasises the importance of family, friendships, teamwork, and emotional intelligence—key values that align with the holistic educational principles of DAV. The students were able to enjoy and absorb these meaningful messages in an engaging and interactive format.
The trip not only provided a break from the regular academic routine but also promoted bonding among students and encouraged them to reflect on the key values showcased in the film, fostering social and emotional growth.
