DAV Public School, Uppal's Southend, Sector-49, Gurugram, organised anfor the students of Grades IX and X from 7 October 2024 to 10 October 2024, spanning four days and three nights. A total of 140 students participated in this exciting journey, accompanied by teachers. The trip was designed to expose students to the rich historical and cultural heritage of Udaipur, offering a balance of learning and recreation. During the trip, students also visited the Kishangarh Dumpyard, learning about environmental issues and waste management, adding a modern perspective to their educational experience. Students explored significant landmarks, including the majestic Chittorgarh Fort, City Palace, and Jagdish Temple. These sites provided them with deep insights into the history of Rajputana, its architecture, and the valour of rulers like Maharana Pratap, whom they learned more about at the Maharana Pratap Museum. The visit to Bagore Ki Haveli and Saheliyon Ki Baadi offered a glimpse into the artistic and leisurely aspects of royal life, enriching the students' understanding of Rajasthani culture. The group stayed at Amargarh Resort, which offered comfortable accommodations and served as a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. The trip proved to be a wonderful experience, combining education with travel, and leaving students with lasting memories and valuable knowledge. It was an opportunity for them to learn beyond the classroom, fostering their appreciation for Indian history, culture, and environmental responsibility.
