The two-day Conferencia’24 concluded with resounding success and impactful deliberations on pressing global issues. Delegates from diverse schools and backgrounds engaged passionately in debates, fostering diplomacy and critical thinking. Day one featured intense committee sessions, where resolutions were drafted amid spirited negotiations. Day two witnessed the culmination of these efforts, with the finalization and voting on resolutions aimed at addressing significant global challenges.We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Charu Maini, Principal of DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram, for her unwavering guidance and mentorship. Her leadership provided students with this incredible platform to develop and showcase their talents. The support and encouragement from our principal have been pivotal in making this event a grand success.This year’s conference witnessed participation from over 350 delegates representing more than 40 prestigious schools, creating a dynamic and enriching platform for intellectual exchange.We were deeply honored by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including our Chief Guest, Shri Prabodh Mahajan, Chairman of the School LMC and Vice President of DAVCMC. We were also graced by the Guests of Honour, Shri Yogesh Munjal, Vice Chairman of the School LMC, Mrs. Anita Makkar, Director Principal of HDFC School, and Mrs. Aparna Erry, Principal of DAV Public School, Sector 14. Their presence elevated the spirit of the event, and their words of wisdom inspired all in attendance. We are immensely grateful for their valuable time and contributions, which greatly contributed to the success of the event.The closing ceremony was a moment of celebration and reflection on the achievements of the conference. Delegates applauded as the winners of the Best Delegate, High Commendation, and Special Mention awards were announced, along with Verbal Mentions, recognising their exemplary contributions and diplomatic skills. The Executive Board members were honored for their dedication and guidance throughout the conference, receiving tokens of appreciation amid heartfelt applause. A special thanks was extended to the Secretariat for their meticulous organization and commitment, making Conferencia '24 MUN a memorable experience for all participants.As the delegates departed, having formed new friendships and gained enriched perspectives, the spirit of diplomacy and collaboration fostered at Conferencia MUN will continue to resonate, inspiring future leaders to engage actively in global affairs.
