The Primary Wing of DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram organised its annual sporting extravaganza Athletic Meet ( JAZBAA 2025 ) on 26 and 27 March 2025. The principal of the school, Ms. Charu Maini, addressed all the students and wished them success. She stressed upon the significance of hard work, practice, and perseverance in order to achieve victory and declared the Meet 'open'. It was a much awaited event in which the students of classes III to V participated in a plethora of races and games throughout the day. While the 100 m and 200 m sprints and hurdle races gave excitement and an adrenaline rush to the participants as well as the spectators, the 4x100m relay races proved once again the power of coordination and teamwork. The recreational races tested the agility and quick thinking of the athletes and were highly entertaining. The sack race and the three-legged race brought out the power and springiness of the athletes, while the 'Tug-of-War' was an absolute scene stealer! It was a thrilling event that involved the spectators as much as the participants. The sports day 'JAZBAA' was a great success. The athletes gave their best on the field to win medals. The spectators supported their housemates wholeheartedly and celebrated each victory with pure joy and pride. Their unbridled enthusiasm, undaunted efforts, and effervescent happiness proved beyond any doubt the supreme power of sports to unite under a common cause, ignite the passion to excel and spread joy and cheer.
