As part of Colon Cancer Awareness Month, DAV Public School, Sector-49, organized a special mobile exhibition titled "Colon Tunnel on Wheels" on 9th April 2024. The program was conducted by Dr. Sagar, renowned Gastro Surgeon, along with his team from Medanta Hospital.

The exhibition aimed to spread awareness about Colon Cancer – its Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prevention through an interactive and engaging setup. Students from Classes VII to XII participated in small groups and explored the informative van.

The initiative was greatly appreciated and supported by our Principal Ma’am and Dr. Meenakshi, who emphasized the importance of early awareness and healthy lifestyle habits among students. The session proved to be a valuable addition to the students’ health education.
