With immense pride and joy, we share a moment of exceptional distinction for DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram. Upholding the rich legacy of DAV, the school celebrates the remarkable achievement of its students- Keshav Pandey (XII), Suhaani Satija (X), and Yesha (X)- who successfully completed the prestigious ITIHAAS Youth Heritage Leadership Programme 2025–26 and were honoured on the occasion of World Heritage Day, 18th April 2026, at the iconic Red Fort, Delhi.
In a moment of rare honour and national significance, the students received their certificates from Shri Yadubir Singh Rawat, Director General, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI)—the apex authority entrusted with the protection and preservation of India’s most treasured monuments. Adding to this proud achievement, Keshav Pandey was awarded a Certificate of Merit for his outstanding performance, making the occasion even more remarkable for the institution.
Selected through a rigorous and competitive process, the students undertook an enriching journey from November 2025 to April 2026. Beginning with an online interaction session, the programme progressed through immersive heritage walks, on-site learning experiences, and expert interactions, allowing them to deeply engage with India’s rich cultural and historical heritage.
The highlight of this journey was their confident participation in the Heritage Walk at the Red Fort, where they represented the school as young heritage ambassadors. At key locations such as Chhatta Chowk, Diwan-i-Aam, and Rang Mahal, they delivered articulate and engaging presentations, interacting with visitors and bringing history to life with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm.
