EARTH DAY (III-V)

DAV Public School, Uppal’s Southend, Gurugram, celebrated Earth Day on April 22, 2025, with a range of creative and eco-friendly activities for Classes III to V.

Students of Class III participated enthusiastically in a *Plantation Drive, where each child planted a sapling in the school premises. They also created colourful **Garden Tags* using ice cream sticks and pastel sheets, writing thoughtful slogans like "Plant a Tree, Plant a Hope," reinforcing the message of environmental care.

Class IV students took part in *Eco-friendly Bag Making*, using newspapers or old cloth to design beautiful bags decorated with Earth Day slogans and drawings. This activity promoted the idea of reducing waste and embracing sustainable living.

Class V students expressed their creativity through *Earthen Pot Decoration*, where they adorned traditional pots with eco-friendly designs, vibrant colours, and messages celebrating nature.

Each activity was designed to instill a sense of responsibility towards the environment, encouraging students to understand that small actions can lead to significant change. Through planting, crafting, and decorating, students celebrated Earth Day with joy, creativity, and commitment.

The celebrations reinforced the belief that together, we can nurture a greener, healthier planet for future generations.
