The closing ceremony of the prestigious XIIth Gurugram Police Cyber Security Internship Programme was held with great enthusiasm  at DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram, on 2nd July 2025. This month-long internship, a collaborative initiative by the Gurugram Police, DAV Public School, Sector 49 Gurugram and various partner institutions, benefitted over 1100+ participants from schools and colleges across India. It provided an excellent platform to equip students with knowledge, awareness, and hands-on experience in cyber safety and security.

The ceremony commenced with a green welcome extended to a distinguished panel of guests, which included ACP Cyber Gurugram, Shri Priyanshu Dewan; Dr. Rakshit Tandon, Cyber Mentor, and Trainer of the Gurugram Police Cyber Security Summer Internship; Mr. Gagan, COO of Finkeda; Mr. Soukat, CTO of Finkeda; Mr. Osho Kalia, representative of the Pawan Prithvi Paani Group; and Ms. Rashmi Malik, Principal Salwan Public School, Gurugram.

Ms. Charu Maini, Principal of DAV Public School, Sector 49, delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the school's commitment to preparing future-ready youth. A comprehensive briefing of the internship was presented by Dr. Rakshit Tandon, who highlighted the key modules, practical training sessions, and success stories from the programme. His presentation was both enlightening and motivating for all attendees.

Adding creative and emotional depth to the ceremony, CA Saanvi Jaiswal recited a thought-provoking poem. This was followed by a graceful dance performance by students of DAVPS 49 Gurugram,  highlighting the need to explore our inner strength under the guidance of our gurus, and a skit on cyber awareness presented by students of DAVPS 49 Gurugram , which conveyed important safety tips in a powerful and engaging manner.

Mr. Gagan, COO, Finkeda and Mr. Osho Kalia also addressed the gathering, sharing insights on technology’s role in nation-building and the need for young people to be ethically aware in the digital space.

ACP Shri Priyanshu Dewan, in his address, congratulated all participants and urged them to become ambassadors of cyber safety. His words served as a motivating call to action for all the cyber warriors present.

The ceremony concluded with the felicitation of mentors, coordinators, and faculty, followed by a group photograph of all the cyber ambassadors and warriors, capturing the spirit of unity and commitment. A formal vote of thanks was delivered to acknowledge the support and contributions of all dignitaries, guests, faculty, and students.

The event was a fitting culmination to a highly impactful internship and reaffirmed the collective responsibility of educational institutions and law enforcement in building a safer digital future.
