Learning turned into joyful discovery at DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram, during the Toy-Making Competition held on 15 July 2025 for students of Grades VI to VIII. With creativity, teamwork, and curiosity at the forefront, students from all houses came together to design innovative, subject-based educational toys. From concept to creation, the young participants took full ownership; brainstorming, building, and presenting their toys with confidence and enthusiasm. The activity brought subjects like math, science, and languages to life through interactive games, encouraging hands-on learning and critical thinking. After careful evaluation on creativity, innovation, and presentation, the winners were announced:
• 1st Position: Pavani- VIC, Saanvi- VIIE, Raghav VIIIA– Neeti House •
2nd Position: Sajith Nagpal-VIE, Paridhi Garg-VIIE , Samyak Bhardwaj-VIII D– Jagriti House

What made this competition truly special was the way students poured their hearts and minds into their toys. From brainstorming ideas to building prototypes and explaining how their toys worked, they took ownership of the entire process. The event was a wonderful reminder that learning doesn't always come from textbooks; sometimes, it comes from building something with your own hands, trying new ideas, and sharing them with your friends. The event was a vibrant celebration of imagination and learning beyond the textbook. Held under the guidance of Principal Ms. Charu Maini, the competition reflected her vision of nurturing students not only as learners but as innovators, collaborators, and confident thinkers of tomorrow.
