Nukkad Natak Competition (III-V)

With this powerful reminder, the Inter-House Nukkad Natak Competition for Classes III–V was held on 11 August 2025 at DAV Public School, Sector–49, Gurugram, on the theme “पर्यावरण की सुरक्षा” (Protection of the Environment). The event aimed to inspire students and the audience to take personal responsibility for protecting nature, using the lively and persuasive medium of street theatre.
Each house delivered a compelling Nukkad Natak, addressing urgent environmental concerns such as pollution, deforestation, waste mismanagement, and water conservation. The participants showcased confidence, creativity, and passion, using impactful dialogues, expressive acting, and memorable slogans to effectively convey their messages. Props, costumes, and rhythmic beats further amplified the performances, making them both educational and entertaining. The competition kept the audience thoroughly engaged. The judges had a tough time deciding the winners, as every team displayed remarkable talent and dedication.
The event concluded with a strong reminder that protecting the environment is not the responsibility of a few, but a duty we all share. The performances left the audience not only entertained but also motivated to make small, consistent changes in their daily lives to safeguard the planet for future generations. Participants of Kirti house won the First prize, participants of Preeti house won the Second prize, participants of Jyoti house won the Third prize and Nyra Bajaj from Jagriti house won the Best Actor award.
