INTER HOUSE COMPETITIONS (III-V)

The festive cheer of Diwali came alive at DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram as students of Classes III to V participated with immense enthusiasm in a series of creative competitions held on 16th October 2025. The celebrations reflected the vibrant spirit of the festival and the boundless imagination of young learners.

Students of Class III showcased their artistry in the Diya Thali/Diya Stand Decoration Competition, Class IV students crafted beautiful Diwali Torans, while Class V students created colourful and intricate Rangolis that adorned the school premises. Each competition turned into a joyful blend of teamwork, creativity, and healthy competition, where every child’s effort shone brightly.

The activity not only encouraged students to express their festive joy through art but also deepened their appreciation of Indian culture and tradition. Through shared laughter, learning, and cooperation, the young participants truly embodied the essence of Diwali — spreading light, happiness, and creativity all around. In Rangoli Making competition participants of Shakti and Jyoti house jointly won the First prize, participants of Jagriti house won the Second prize, participants of Kirti and Preeti house jointly won the Third prize and participants of Neeti house won the Encouragement prize. In the Toran Making competition participants of Kirti house won the First prize and participants of Neeti house won the Second prize. In Diya thali competition participants of Jyoti house won the First prize, participants of Shakti and Jagriti house jointly won the Second prize and participants of Kirti house won the Third prize.
