An informative awareness session was organised at DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram on 28.10.2025 by the Haryana Police for the students of Grades XI and XII. The initiative aimed to educate students about the various uses of the emergency helpline number 112, including its role in trip monitoring, women’s safety, and quick response in emergency situations. ASI Monika from Women Thana sec-51, Gurugram conducted the session, delivering an engaging presentation supported by videos that highlighted real-life applications of the 112 service. She also demonstrated basic self-defence techniques, empowering students to ensure their personal safety. The session concluded with an interactive question–answer round, where students actively participated and clarified their queries. The initiative was highly appreciated as it enhanced awareness about personal safety and the effective use of technology in ensuring public security.
