To honour the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, the students from Kindergarten to Class II joyfully celebrated Gurupurab in the school premises.The campus resonated with devotion and enthusiasm as everyone came together to remember and reflect upon the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.The day commenced with a soulful Prabhat Pheri (morning procession). The Principal, Supervisory Head, teachers, and our young devotees walked around the school singing hymns and shabads, accompanied by musical instruments such as the dhol, tambourine, and dafli, spreading the message of love, peace, and harmony. The atmosphere was truly divine as their voices echoed in prayer and devotion.After the Prabhat Pheri, the children gathered in the green area for Shabd Kirtan and Ardaas.The celebration concluded with the distribution of Kadah Prasad (holy offering), marking a sweet and meaningful end to the day — a gentle reminder of the values of sharing, caring, and gratitude.
